terrible service, terrible music, the only Thing this place is good for is it has a lot of pool tables. the waitresses are all 18 year old hoors that know nothing about customer service. if you want to have more than one beer you're going to be there for a while since it's common to go 30 minutes without seeing your waitress again. I don't know how this place is still in business. I only went to this bar because it's close to my house but I'm tired of it and I will never go there again

This place is definitely just your average sports bar. The pluses to this place is they have a pretty large menu for it being a bar. Their drinks aren't bad and their drink specials reasonable. For those of you that are karaoke fans they DEFINITELY have that. I'm pretty excited for the Michigan smoking ban starting in May because I will definitely be going back after that. The thing that makes this bar pretty great are their waitresses. If you go I would recommend sitting in the section that a waitress named Whitney is working in. If you do that make sure you tip her big. She's not only pretty attentive and fast, but talk about super friendly. Two thumbs up to her. The one other thing I liked is they had tables that could accommodate smaller to larger parties. There was one solid table I saw there that could without a doubt hold at least 10-12 people without having to move tables together. Nothing is more irritating when people have to do that and the put together tables not only take up an obscene amount of space, but you also lost about 3 tables for other people in the process. Random note ... I had their spinach and artichoke dip. While the dip was pretty good and I would recommend getting it I will warn you about the chips, they always suck. :-) At least the dip makes up for it.

It's what you would expect from any sports bar, nothing above ordinary. They have some pretty good drink specials. The food is alright, nothing spectacular, just alright. Pretty standard bar foods, burgers and nachos and what not. If you're in the area and looking for something to do it's really the only thing around.

Oscar's is close to my house so I go there from time to time. Some of the food items are good and there are some nice deals to be had during the late night happy hour, but they have some serious problems overall. If you bring this place up to anyone around town they'll tell you that the service is horrible, and I can attest to this. I was there on Saturday night and they were grossly understaffed as there were about 15 tables filled, but only 2 waitresses in the dining room. Neither one of them ever came to check on our table so we had to place our orders at the bar. The manager was visibly moving around, but how can none of the workers notice or care a table of 3 sitting with no drinks in front of them for 10+ minutes? We ended up leaving an going to Orion Sports Bar. I want Oscar's to work out because of it's nice location, but if they continue to show such indifference to their customers they won't be in business too much longer.

The drinks are a little expensive for a bar that's off the beaten path. I've been there quite a few times and have rarely had good service.

I have been to Oscars many times. Lately the service is just awful. On several occasions tonight the bartender left the bar leaving no one to serve patrons. Other times the bartenders seem more interested in texting than making sure customers are taken care of. Very disappointed

I had high hopes because this bar is so close to our house. They had a decent selection of beer on tap and I imagine it could be a fun place to drink but the food was really mediocre. We went early on a Friday, the kids got mac and cheese which was big noodles with velveeta and a sprinkle of extra cheese on top, so they were happy. The pizza was ok. The chips with the chips and salsa are AWFUL! The generic kind you get at sporting events far exceed the quality of these chips!

There is nothing worse than a restaurant that doesn't care about the quality of it's food or a waitstaff that is indifferent about their service. We had the opportunity to experience both today at Oscars. We arrived on Sunday about 1:15p and it was fairly empty but it still took over 30 minutes to get our drinks and place our orders. Then, once food arrived, it was mediocre at best and most of us complained about wrong orders or food without any flavor. In fairness, the tomato pesto soup was passable but salads were awful, sandwiches nothing more than what you can make at home, pizza was doughy and fries were cold. I ordered the Florida Cobb with grilled chicken - such promise! - but what I got was a plate of iceberg lettuce, oily croutons and pinenuts - no grilled chicken or avocado as was promised. When I asked the server, she said they just forgot and brought me a grilled chicken breast and some sliced avocado. The chicken had NO flavor - not even salt or pepper - and you would at least expect some spice and lime/citrus on it given the name. At least the server did take the charge off our bill. Do NOT go to this place if you are looking for a good meal. If you want a beer and a game of pool, maybe. Again, so sad to see a place that just doesn't care.

It's sad this bar/restaurant is so local to so many people who were hoping for a bar that had a lot more to offer. Don't let the cars in the parking lot deceive you; once inside you will see it's dead! The food is awful, they have horrible drink specials and never have any good beer specials. Seriously, every time someone convinces me to visit, I am disappointed in the service, the food, the fact that they never offer any good drink specials. How are they still in business?

I hate to give a bad review but I have no choice. We went there Sunday afternoon with a large group of 13. When we sat down no one came to greet us for at least 5-10 minutes. Only one other table was in service and maybe 10 at the bar. Only 2 waitress were working. We should have been warned and just gone to Taco Bell for bad food but cheap! The waitress was just not good. She was very slow and didn't hustle at any point in our service. She was nice but you could tell waitressing was not her strong talent. Drink order was slow, food took over an hour to receive and 1/2 of the food was miserable. The entree salads had mostly iceberg lettuce, sandwiches cold, soggy fries, burger buns soggy. The management started to help but you can't cover up bad food and terrible service. It's a shame because this place has all the right stuff: large venue with great seating, food that could be good if executed well, and better training for staff. Owner whoever they are needs to step in and clean house to save this restaurant.

Oscar's was the only place within walking distance of my residence that had the NFL Sunday Ticket, and plenty of TVs to go along with it. As an avid Chicago Bears fan, I knew I could show up at any Sunday at 12:30-12:45 and request a TV to watch my beloved Bears--most of the time with my very own soundbox! The service has always been very accommodating to me, even as I did my best to hold in cheers against the hapless Lions. As for the food, I'd stay away from most of it. On Sunday's, they do have a great $.25 wing special--the wings are HUGE and not bad at all. You have to buy a pitcher of beer to get the special, and the servers were typically nice enough to serve it to me by the glass, which I always appreciated. This place was GREAT for me to watch football, but I think I'd avoid it if I were looking for a nice dinner out.

My wife has always enjoyed oscars chicken pesto panini so I got takeout there. It was different. No longer a panini but more like a grilled sandwich. She said she didn't enjoy it and will no longer get it. I got the fried fish and onion rings. The fish was average but the onion rings were soggy, not good at all. We were bummed out because we have always enjoyed there food. We will be looking for better take out options in the future and probably will not be returning to oscars.

I had some time to spare between work and meeting some friends, so I stopped at the only restaurant I could fine in the area and yes, I did search for a good 30 minutes. The menu was typical bar food. I was a little puzzled/shocked that a quesadilla was considered an entree. Due to my expected evening of drinking ahead, I ordered a light beer and the mac n cheese. The waitress asked if I wanted the 'small' portion. I said sure, since it wasn't exactly dinner time yet (and planning to keep stomach space open for later beverages). The mac n cheese was noodles sprinkled with a few grains of cheddar. Tasteless. When I got my $6 bill, I realized the waitress gave me the 'kids mac'. Whatever. My beer was cold and my bill was only $6. Plus, I know better than to order mac n cheese from a bar. In the end, if I'm near, I'll be back for some drinks again soon.
